COOPER PHARMA: 60 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN PROVIDING BETTER & AFFORDABLE HEALTHCARE TO ALL
Cooper Pharma, a medicine manufacturer and exporter, is a rare success story that came from the confidence and aspiration of a newly independent India. Story of Cooper Pharma was started 60 years ago when a visionary pharmacist Dr. O.S Bhargava took it upon himself to serve humanity by starting a small manufacturing unit in Delhi to produce quality and affordable generic medicines to all.
Hard work and tireless pursuit of its founder finally paid off when Cooper Pharma, a pharmaceutical formulation manufacturer, was started counting among the reputed names in pharma sector over the years. Cooper Pharma first makes a mark in domestic market by supplying its products all across the country and then expanded its operations globally to export in almost 30 countries.
In 2007, a new export-oriented manufacturing facility was set up in Dehradun, capital of Uttarakhand in North India. This state of the art production facility helped Cooper Pharma diversified its products portfolio to a vast range covering a variety of therapeutic categories such as hypertension drugs, anti-malarial drugs, antidiabetic drugs, gastrointestinal medicines, and health supplements etc. (See Detail). The dosage forms of these quality formulations include Tablets, Capsules, Liquids, Ointments and Injectables.
In our illustrious journey we have faced lot of roadblocks but we overcame all the obstacles and hardship with great strength and resilience. Our milestones will give a glimpse of some of our achievements and accomplishments over the years
1959
The first plant was set up in Delhi. It started with the manufacturing of only a few products which were sold only in the Northern states of India
1959-1991
During the course of these years Cooper Pharma due to its continuous expansion ensures that its products are available at major pharmacy chains across the country,
1991
Cooper Pharma started doing exports with nearby Asian countries.
1991-2007
Expansion of exports, with products available in bigger markets in Asia, Africa, and other countries.
2007
Cooper Pharma has come up with a new unit in Dehradun. This unit is equipped with state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities producing all sorts of dosage forms.
2007 Onwards
Riding high on the wave of success Cooper Pharma started development of the latest pharmaceutical formulations and expanded its market further. Our products become available in more than 25 countries as well as in leading online pharmacies.
2020
A new separate and dedicated unit to manufacture soft gelatin capsule is set up in Industrial Township of Noida.
